Welcome to the 60th Annual Convention! We are looking forward to your participation. Here are some reminders to help you in your registration whether you are an in-person or online participant.
The 60th PPS Convention is a hybrid event that gives the participants a choice of either a face-to-face/virtual or a purely virtual platform.
With the theme “Hindsight Insight Foresight: A 360-degree Vision Toward Excellent Pediatric Care”, the 60th PPS Convention provides more than 70 learning activities in the course of four days:
- 5 Pre-convention Modules
- 3 Memorial Lectures
- 6 Plenary Lectures
- 14 Tracks on Demand
- 56 Subtopics
To maximize your learning experience during the convention, you may plan your activities according to the schedule provided.
ALL REGISTERED DELEGATES will have access to the convention sessions and activities on the Docquity mobile app as well as the convention microsite.
For mobile app users, always use the device with the mobile number you encoded when you registered to the convention.
FOR FACE TO FACE DELEGATES (ONSITE at the PICC)
1. From May 4-May 11, 2023, you would receive a final email notice confirming your registration to the 60th PPS Annual Convention which includes your unique registration QR code.
2. Download or take a screenshot of the QR code and save to your mobile device. Present this to the Registration Desk personnel ONSITE ( May 14 – 17 ) in order to get your convention ID and kits. The certificate of attendance is NOT INCLUDED in the kit.
3. Bring a valid ID with your photo and signature upon registration.
4. For Proxies: Please bring a duly signed authorization letter, ID of the actual delegate ( photocopy or digital ), proxy’s ID with picture, screenshot or photocopy of the QR code of the delegate.
5. Registration Hours:
- May 14, 2023 : 8AM – 2PM
- May 15, 2023 : 7AM – 2PM
- May 16, 2023 : 7AM – 12PM
- May 17, 2023: &AM – 12PM
6. To record attendance to the Memorial and Plenary lectures, the Docquity QR code will be posted outside the Plenary Hall. Scan the QR code to PUNCH IN upon ENTRY. Always remember to PUNCH OUT upon exiting the Plenary Hall AFTER each day’s morning sessions.
7. Upon punching out, the post-session evaluation form will appear. Accomplish the evaluation form in order to be credited the PPS CPD Units.
8. FIVE (5) PPS CPD units will be credited for EACH memorial and plenary session.
9. There are 8 Midday symposia in the assigned meeting rooms for May 15 and May 16, 2023. These would be open to both F2F and virtual attendees. There are limited seats available on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS. Standing room IS NOT allowed as per PICC Safety Rules.
10. Tracks on Demand will only be available online at the Docquity app and convention microsite.
11. For technical concerns, please post your concerns in the Community area of the convention on the Docquity app or microsite.
12. Scientific sessions will be available for 3 months after the convention on the Docquity app.
13. CPD units will only be credited after accomplishing the post session evaluation form or the post quiz.
14. The Commercial Exhibit at the PICC Forum will be open from 9AM – 5PM May 1-15, 2023
16. This is a MASKED convention, Wear a face mask while in the convention venue.
17. Please observe physical distancing and proper hygiene.
18. Wear your convention ID upon entering and while inside the convention venue.
FOR VIRTUAL ATTENDEES
1. Virtual access is through the convention microsite and the Docquity mobile app. Please make sure that you have the Docquity app installed on your registered mobile device.
2. Virtual attendees will NOT be allowed entry to the Plenary Hall.
3. However, they can attend the Mid-day Symposia scheduled on May 15 -16, 2023. They also have access to the Commercial exhibits. Access to these areas is allowed only if they are wearing their convention IDs.
4. Virtual attendees can get their convention IDs at the designated registration counter after they present their confirmation email and a valid ID with picture and signature. NO KITS will be given to virtual attendees.
5. You may get you IDs on:
- May 15, 2023 : 7AM – 2PM
- May 16, 2023 : 7AM – 12PM
- May 17, 2023: 7AM – 12PM

8. Scientific sessions will start on their scheduled time. However, those which will be livestreamed will start at the time the session starts ONSITE. Scientific sessions will be available for 3 months after the convention on the Docquity app.
9. CPD units will only be credited after accomplishing the post session evaluation form or the post quiz.
10. For technical issues, please post your concerns in the Community area of the convention on the Docquity app or microsite

These events are exclusive for PPS Members and will be streamed live on the PPS YouTube Channel. The link will be shared to the PPS members by their Chapter Officers and Cluster Heads in order for those not onsite to join virtually.
This will be streamed live on Docquity from the F2F event at Meeting Room 10 on May 16, 2023 2:00 – 4:00 PM. Delegates who registered for the F2F format may physically join the session.
This will be streamed live on Docquity from the F2F event at Meeting Room 6 on May 16, 2023 2:00 – 4:00 PM. Delegates who registered for the F2F format may physically join the session.
This will be streamed live on Docquity from the F2F event at Meeting Room 4 on May 17, 2023 12:00 – 1:00 PM. Delegates who registered for the F2F format may physically join the session.

This is purely virtual and the zoom webinar link will be sent to the registered email address of the PPS member who registered for the convention.
